What is the purpose of TAADS?

 

 

 

CoWorx is always looking for solutions to help improve the recruiting and placement process.  We are testing a new Talent Assessment Test designed specifically for Light Industrial.  Currently we use Prove-IT, which gives a very general assessment of a candidate’s abilities based on their knowledge of safety, basic math, and ethical conduct.  From there it is up to the recruiter to determine whether or not to place and where to place that candidate.  TAADS is designed to take the Prove-IT assessment a step further.  Through a series of questions, TAADS will actually give the Recruiter insight on how likely a candidate will succeed in specific areas of Light Industrial such as Materials Handling, Production, Assembly, Pick/Pack.  These probabilities take into consideration a host of different factors that may affect a candidate’s likelihood of success in a certain light industrial position. Factors such as: work environment, attendance, candidate’s physical capabilities, process repetition, etc. etc.

 

With this information a recruiter will have a much better understanding of what a candidate will be successful at and where to place him or her to help that candidate succeed.  This will help create more long-term placements and save a recruiter time by not having to place and replace candidates in different positions or with different clients.

Q. Will the use of TAADS add more time to the candidate process?

A. Yes it will add about 15 more minutes to the candidate process but in the big picture it will save a Recruiter time by cutting down the time it takes to place a candidate and TAADS will help create more long term placements.
